Mods at 146K

My 98 GP GT 3800 series II has 146K miles on it, 40K on the tranny. I love this car. I've had it for about 3 months now, but I'm thinking about making some mods to it to increase performance. Is there anything anyone recommends or should I leave it be? (I'm a college student as well so my budget is pretty limited)

well my 00GT has 102K miles and i just got an aftermarket PCM. and will be doing a downpipe soon too. Did the Ubend delete after i got the car 3 yrs ago.

Well i'm a college kid and my budget is EXTREMELY tight unfortunately....so it looks like i might not be able to mod just yet. Although, i have a buddy who has a chevy lumina with a 3100 series v6 that has a custom cold air intake. He said he'd give it to me if it fit on my car. Will it fit or can i do some customization to make it fit? Again, I have the 3800 series II v6.
