Rear View Mirror Stabilization

Just a question. Are there any tricks to stabilizing your rearview mirror when you have a system? I personally don't have one, but my friend got his hooked up (just two 12's with 2400 watt amp) and his mirror is pretty much useless. When the bass hits, his mirror falls. Not completely off the hub, but it just angles down so he ends up looking at his own lap in the mirror instead of out the rear window.
He asked me what he could do to fix it since I'm the "car guy" but I don't have a system so I don't have that problem. Any suggestions?
BTW he has a 99 Intrepid

there might be a screw just behind the mirror that you can tighten up

I should've thought of that. I'll check next time.

The only screw there is, is on the mirror for the mount, other than that i dont know of any way to keep it from moving down. My mirror is horrible. Only thing i could suggest is what i did on my corolla and put super glue in the joint that you use to adjust the mirror up and down. Just have to make sure that its in the range that its not pointing in the wrong direction.
