I know this was posted over two months ago, and there hasn't been a solution posted yet, but wondering if anyone had any ideas on this.
I have a 99 GA with this same vibrating problem. When you're sitting idling at a traffic light in gear, it vibrates. It happens once it warms up and it's idling around 600 RPM. The vibrating does go away when you shift it into neutral.
A mechanic has suggested that it may be the harmonic balancer.
Any help or insight is appreciated!

If it was posted here, I didnt see it !
I'd say it was an engine or trans mount damaged/broken.
A balancer can cause some vibrations.
If you look at the balancer when the cars running,
and its bent, you can tell because it will look like its wobbling.
They dont bend on thier own either.
Hope that helps.
And Welcome back to AF !!

Thanks for the quick reply to this!
My mechanic looked at the three engine mounts and he saw no problems with them.
I'll take a look at the balancer to see if it's bent/wobbling.
Hopefully I'll remember to come back and let you know if I figure it out.

Sometimes the mounts apear good until you really examin them, or take them loose.
My GA SE had one trans mount broken(the rubber in the middle) and I looked at least 6X to see if they were bad.
Then I just replaced all the mounts and my shake went away. I used newr urethane mounts not rubber.
Good Luck
