81 buick skylark tranny trouble. Please HELP ME!!

Hello, I need your help!:crying:
My car is an old 1981 Skylark v6 2.8l (173ci),and I've got some problems with my transmission : The transmission doesn't upshift, even if I'm using the manual selector. The tranny stay always on the first gear.
I 've controled the fluid level, remove and control the valve body assembly, and the governor assembly.... All seem in perfect condition.:banghead:
It's like the transmission stay always in "quick down position".
Have you got an idea?
