I already have a 91 N/A mr2 or mark II. I would like to install a 3s-gte engine. But have no clue if it's even possibile. Would I need a new wiring harness? I actually don't know the year of the 3s-gte engine because it's been imported from japan. The seller can tell me very little about the engine. All of the wires and houses have been cut. If anyone has done this before please tell me anything you know.

For this info you need to hit up mr2oc.com. But to get you started, you will need the engine, tranny, ecu, harness, intercooler, ignitor *basically all the things the turbo car has. Most people tend to buy the half cut from japan. Basically this is an mr2 cut in half. The positive is everything you need for the swap is present without any cuts. That is your best way to go or you will half to piece together the swap. If that is too much just hit up mr2warehouse.com. They have carried out dozens of the swaps.
