No juice to starter on 93

Hi: My 93 is dead, I have a new battery and power to everything except starter, no click, no nothing. Power is everywhere else, have checked fuses and lights stay constant when ignition is turned.
Have been told it may be a bad ground from the engine but do not know where the strap is. Plan on jumpering from the starter to the negative to see if this isolates.
Any direction is appreciated.

Thanks

Check the starter solenoid....... Jumper the terminals and see if you get a start.
