2002 Alero AC problem

First off, I have a 2002 alero GLS coupe. When I turn the fan on to the first 3 speeds, nothing happens it seems. When I get to the 4th speed it works perfectly normal. For some reason the first 3 speeds do nothing. I saw in a previous thread where it is a bad blower motor resistor. Can anyone confirm? Thanks!

You have a bad blower motor resistor.
