'98 power sliding door won't unlock

Does anyone have any experience with a 1998 passenger side power sliding door not unlocking? The solenoids sound and look like they are working as I see some rods/levers moving when I push the open/close switch. I also cannot manually slide the lock/unlock slider switch to the unlock position. I can get the door to open by pushing the open/close button and then manually pulling back on a horizontal bar on the inside of the door which I believe is attached to the locking mechanism.

Thanks,

I adjusted a Torx T30 bolt 1/4" to the left on the locking mechanism which allowed the lock rod pin to slide into a channel and not hit the front of the channel. So far so good.

Hello I have an 03 Silhouette and had the same door lock problem on the passenger sliding door. Lock and unlock slider would not always unlock unless you pushed on a rod to the left of it. I did what you said and loosened the torx T30 bolt just above and the mechanism slid a bit to the left. Retightened it and it works beautiful. Thanks alot you saved me an expensive repair at the dealer
