Got back from Toronto. All I can say is that its good to be an American shopping in Canada! Boy, U.S. $$ goes pretty far. Its also a good thing we get back one of the two taxes they put on everything there.

We spent time downtown near the CN Tower and the Skydome playing the part of tourists. Went to Chinatown and then out to the Pacific Coast Mall - lots of good deals to be found if you can speak the language (and I dont mean French).

I will say I saw more goofy looking (some call it rice) cars in that town then I've ever seen before. They were good for some laughs when we were driving around.

All in all, its a pretty nice city.

I was expecting you to say you saw some goofy looking hairdo's :D When I was in Winnipeg it seemed that every one had either blue, purple, or green hair, even people who appeared to be on their way to a job at the office. I just assumed it was a culture who didn't label people by their looks so quickly.

Anywho, good to hear you had a good trip :)

Welcome back. I know what you mean about the all conquering US dollar (still...)
You bastards can holiday in Australia virtually for 1/2 price. Canada is awesome. Will be going back for the second time in December for a month skiing Whistler. Woohoo.

Damn, thats better than what I thought

The reason my mum got me such a good watch when she went to Melbourne, was because the NZ$ was pretty valuable in Aus, or some shit like that:bloated:

This christmas break or march break i'm gunna go up to montreal and go to all the strip clubs/bars/clubs. Because i'll be 18, and thats the legal age for drinking there :D

I heard the strip clubs are some of the best in the world there.... sounds like fun :flash:

I've been there before but this time i'm old enough to do the good stuff :)

Actually I'm from Petoskey which is near the "tip of the mitt" but on weekends, I'm in Lansing which is about an hour west of Detroit.
