high idle?-Olds Cutlass

well. the cars been off the road for 4 years and its had mice in the engine compartment...
well went and got it running and am getting it back on the road but the car idles high.
how can i get it lower? i need it to be normal as this car has to pass aircare
i know theres no way to do it manually but is there something that normally screws up that makes it idle high?

and year,
and engine size.... that would probly help a bunch :D

Sorry Mike I didnt want to assume that was your car.
Try cleaning the IAC thats on the throttle body.
Check for vacum leaks.
After sitting for so long MANY things could be wrong.
Try this link for specifics on your car, and some test procedures, Good Luck !
