How do I check the coil pack on a 1997 Pontiac grand-am 3.1 engine It is missing real bad at idle

How do I check the coil pack on a 1997 Pontiac grand-am 3.1 engine It is missing real bad at idle
the easiest way is to just ise an old spark plug or spark tester. If its getting good blu spark its probly good.
The 3.1 coils are in pairs 1&4 , 6&3 , 2&5.
If no spark I'll try and post further testing steps.
