transmittion leak

My car has been in a frontal accident,
I had to change my radiator and drive it to the shop on y way there i heard a noise that sounded like something leaking out with alot of pesure, i tought it was wate form the radiator so i kept driving, reaching a certain point my transmition started slipping then a little smoke cameout of under the hood so i stopped and noticed that all my transmittion fluid was gone, now i had it toewed.
I hope it might be the tubing form the transmition to the radiator but what else could it be and would drivng till it the traini slips ruin my transmition if it only happenned once ?
its a 94 civic Automatic

The leak is probably from a cooler hose. Add 1 1/2 qts of ATF and check to see where the leak comes from. Fix the leak and your trans should be OK.

Do you know if I have to bleed the trainy after putting the oil ?

No just pour in the fluid through the fill hole and see where/ if it leaks, no need to bleed but you can drain the old fluid. Im guessing you didnt hook up you transmission oil cooler lines that go to your radiator or those had slipped off and you leaked all your fluid out. I'm sorry to say this but you shouldnt have ignored the problem and kept on driving when you saw smoke come out of your hood.

You stopped after you saw smoke and realized your transmission was slipping instead of pushing the accellerator until the car stopped moving, creating a traffic obsticle, and needing to be pushed out of the way. You should also be commended for replacing your own radiator. Maybe you used fuel line to replace the rubber connector hoses. Fuel line is not the correct type of hose. What you need is called 3/8" multi-purpose hose.

Wow thats harsh! my profile is 4 years old, my I pay my own bills ! And the noisereally sounded like wind wistleing trough my cracked bumber until the trainy started slipping and the little smoke came out of under the hood i was sure it was just the wind or at worst water comming out of my cracked water botle.

Yes, a very harsh spin based on pieces of truth. As I wrote, "for your benefit" as well as anyone else who may choose to act differently if they find themselves in a similar circumstance. You continue to defend your decision. So wind whisteling through a broken bumper can sound like fluid spraying out of an automatic transmission? Maybe you still don't get it? Time will tell if you take action sooner when next you find yourself in a similar situation. Your money and effort can undo whatever damage occurs. You are the ultimate "Human Race", currently testing Honda automatic transmissions.

I also hope your transmission is fine. It probably has many miles left in it. You won't be able to add fluid without the long funnel. Use dexronIII. Honda's method of flushing their transmissions is to drain, refill, and drive for a few miles and drain, refill and drive two more times. Flushing can't hurt your transmission. Honda transmissions are not known for the same level of quality as their engines.

I still have my original 92 auto tranny in there.. Never had a problem. The damn thing wont die :)

Went to get the car today, the transmition is fine and so is the power steering it was just some leaking tubes. But my A/c does'nt kick in i think soemtinh gis wrong with my relay. I'll have to findout where the relay is. I downloaded the pdf of the book online but it sucks to look for sometihng in it cauz there is no index, I'll try searching the forum first.
