Finished it this morning during the F1 qualify about one hour before I went to the model show.
It's Revell's 32 with a big block 427 Chevy engine. The IFS comes from a Revell '37 Ford. It's painted in Model Master Dark Cherry Pearl with a lot of Tamiya clear over it. The rear wheels comes from a Revell '41 Willys.

great build!!! do you have any pics of the front suspension, and under the car? I was considering doing just as you built this car right down to the color and flames (though my flames were going to be pinstripe outline, rather than full color). I love it!!!!
a little advice though....
FORDS BELONG IN FORDS!!!!!!
hahaha, J/K, great job!!!

Thanks guys. I can agree that a Ford should have a Ford engine, but as I didn't have any ford engines laying around and thought a 302 was a bit small I went with the 427 Chevy. At least it's better then a HEMI
Here are some pics of the chassis and the front suspension.

My father built hotrods before he passed away last year. he once had put a Chevy rat in a 29 model A Ford and a vette. rearend out back. Chevy and Ford together why not. what ever works I say. Your 32 is very nice. good paint.

Love the pre-war Fords, one of these days I need to build about 20 of these. Can we see some more pics of the interior? I can see just a bit of it, and it looks great :D

out of the box that kit has one of the finest interiors out there. actually if I may say, I think that revell/monogram has made the best kit of all times with this one, and it's sister kits, the highboy roadster, and speedwagon. the fit and finish on this line of '32s is so good that even with my moderate skills, and a set of wire wheels from a monogram ferrarri daytona I captured 1st place in several contests, and I did NO modifications to any of the kit parts aside from filling seams on the engine/tranny. and I THINK I had to remove some mold lines along the sides/rear of the body.

I agree this kit is one of the best, I just love it, got three more in progress.
Here are some progress pics of the interior. I added a MCG PE steering wheelt and a turned aluminum steering colomn.
