92 4runner with multiple problems

I bought a 92 4 runner v6 3.0 4X4 a couple of weeks ago. At first the power steering would not work, and it was leaking power steering fluid around the pump. so I had a mechanic replace the power steering pump. The power steering works now, but power steering fluid is still leaking around the pump area any suggestions.

The second problem is kind of tricky, because I really don't know if everything is related. When ever I accelerate from a sitting position there is very little power, and it takes a while for the vehichle to get going, but once it reaches speed of 20mph and over it runs fine. If I start out in D1 or D2 the vehichle will take off without any problems. the O/d light blinks on and off when O/d is not on and the speedometer fluctuates while driving. I am thinking transmission or solenoids valves on the transmission. Please respond with any suggestions.

Need more information. How does the the engine do in park or neutral?
Have you pulled any codes?
