bov sound

ok...this might seem like a ridiculous ricer post, but i gotta know.

how do set up the intake system and such so that you can hear the bov when you are stopped and just rev it up? last night i was at the beach and met this one guy with an SRT4 and he had a different bov and exhaust, and he could just rev it up and hear a ultra loud PSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!. sounded real clean. now, im super psyched about it and was wondering if it was possible with our cars? id think that obviously you would have to be venting to make it very loud. so that would mean a gm maf right? anyone else venting super loud under no load?

ps-this might just be a quick 48 hour phase im going through also..

As for venting the BOV. Remember it is not recommended and will give you crappy idle and whatnot, but i am sure you already know the side effects.

All you have to do is just unclamp the recirculation tube take it off the BOV. I have been known to do it to my car a few times, it is pretty sexy!

You could always just get a greddy type S bov and adjust it so it is realllly soft. When I first got my bov it was set to very soft and I wasn't sure how to adjust it so I left it like that for the first week or two. My car would blow off at 2 grand just dailly driving. SRT4s are known for blowing off when only just backing out of a parking lot lol. But yeah, setting a greddy type s bov will allow you to blow off loud and clean and at low rpms at a stop.

i just have a question about setting the bov to soft...

as long as the throttle is open the bov wont open correct? only when the throttle is closed will the bov open right?
