Which of these 3 TAMIYA spraypaint is the closest to chrome?
1. TS17 Gloss Aluminium
2. TS30 Silver Leaf
3. TS76 Mica Silver
I was thinking to paint the body chrome.

Of the three you mention, the first one IMO. The other 2 have metallic/mica particles which you won't find in chrome.
Having said that, even the first one is not going to be very "chromey".
If you search the forum you will find quite a few threads where this has been discussed and various suggestions made.

I have to agree with klutz... you're simply not going to get a chrome look with Tamiya paints. There are some paints that do simulate chrome pretty well however, but you'd have to airbrush. Alclad II comes to mind..

If you don't have an airbrush, the closest thing in a spray can only is Duplicolor Chrome... but the chrome does turn dull when handled. :frown:

Silver Leaf is the closest. Or X11 on airbrush (but if you have one, you want Alclad paint)
Duplicolor Chrome is also very good, but last about 2 week then dull badly.
