hey all, another question:grinyes: When i brake(usually moderate to hard braking) from something like 35 mph and up, the steering wheel will wobble. From what i hear this is warped rotors? Im not to excited about replacing rotors but if i have to/need to i will learn how and do so. Also, what type of brake services should be done to both disc and drum brakes? I hear of 'glazed' rotors, what is that? I was also wondering about new brake pads? Ive heard its a temporary fix for the wobble. Someone please school me on the whole brake rotor, service thing:icon16: and on a side note, does anyone know where a grommet'd hole in the firewall would be to put say, a speaker wire through? oh yes, and are there suspension parts and such that need to be lubed/greased or are all new model taurus's sealed? 2002 taurus ses, sorry i didnt mention that. Thanks for all the help, im on a maintenance rage right now since my parents didnt keep up on it when they sold me the car 50K miles, any other maintenance things i should do? Thanks guys and gals!!!!:) :)

Brakes- your rotors could either be warped, or they could have an uneven buildup of brake pad material. I would replace the rotors and pads ( or at least get your rotors ground down if they have enough thickness left) And make sure to break in the new rotors/ pads according to instructions.
Firewall- you're just going to have to look around and see if there is anything. If not, then you need a bit designed for steel, and making sure you aren't drilling into anything just make a hole.

You should do a transmission fluid/filter service, is recommended every 30K miles. Be sure to use Mercon V

The pulsation in the brake pedal is most likely due to warped brake rotors. New brake pads will not be a possible solution for a brake pulsation, that's gonna be either rotors or suspension components. Rotors are not hard to replace or pull to have them machined/turned. Since you mention you are on a maintenance rage though, I suggest you get yourself a service manual for the car. It will have details on most of the service you plan to do, as well as have wiring diagrams.
Yes, the OEM suspension and steering components are "maintenance free" and will not need periodic greasing. However, many replacement outer tie rod ends will have grease fittings.
Since your parents didn't perform much maintenance, you would probably be well served to add a bottle of fuel injector cleaner to the fuel tank and check the spark plugs and wires. Well, which engine do you have, the 24V DOHC or the 12V? The DOHC probably won't have plug wires, but be of the Coil On Plug style instead.
