Ok kids, recent conversations have brought upon the ressurection of this poll, which I think should be done at the open and close of the winter season to see who's done or what needs to be done while your f-body is in hybernation (warmer weather members may contribute even tho they don't truely get it :icon16: )
My 85 is currently down state, awaiting dissassembly, subframe shot, to donate the motor, trans and rear to worthy cause. So mine is a RIP.

Small issues.. mainly just pain in the ass things that affect the smallest thing but as well all know the small ones become the biggest.

Nothing that affects the driving of the car, just a lot of small annoying stuff. Major things right now are sagging suspension on the passenger side, exhaust leak, exhaust is too quiet, flaking paint on front bumper and a hood that is scratched to hell. There's other shit too, too much to list I guess.

mine runs and drives perfect, i just want it faster so that is my problem.
Mr. Luos
09-29-2006, 07:36 PM
Voted Run'n Perfect, no problems.
Only issue is the fuel pressure gauge decided to not work this afternoon. No biggie. Just have to figure out if it is the sender or the gauge.

If you want the 'cammed sound', go with a smaller LSA, like 112. Its all about lope baby.

I know, I want something slightly more aggressive than the stock cam but nothing too huge. It's just not smart in my situation to pour a butt load of money into this and a bunch of other required supporting mods for a large cam when I have every intention of selling this car come spring.

That cam probably required the use of a big stall? I'd rather have something that requires as few expensive supporting mods as possible (I know the obvious things when going to a larger cam).

In a coma, in my garage... dash out for replacement, wiring completed up to dash - need new gauges, need new front springs I think, redoing interior while I'm at it, and when THAT's all done, I gotta get #3 compression of 15 psi back up to 185 psi... oh yay. And oh yeah, some dickhead jammed the original RS steering wheel on the splines crooked and I can't get it off to fix it, so it looks I'll have to buy a new steering wheel too (after cutting this one off... ***deep breaths***.

THAT would be awesome, but there is one significant problem... It will take me until about May 2007 to herd up all the greenbacks that RD is gonna require to bring her back.
You can still come over and drink beers... maybe you can help me to train Earl to kill my neighbors' cats. The jackass HATES cats, but for some damned reason he could be staring straight at the neighbor's cat (in me back yard.. heheheheee) and never see it. I've considered winging one with a 10-pump and letting fatso finish it off, but the houses are so close together I'm afraid they'd see me. The idiot actually found a turtle in our back yard once and made a complete mess of it, and he catches (and eats) rabbits (and toads) occasionally so I know he can do it, for some reason he just can't see cats.
We could discuss RD's various medical issues, feed Earl brussels sprouts, teach him to kill cats, drink beers, and laugh about farts until the greenage comes around... THEN we could fix RD.
