3000 GT for sale

1993 white, manual, unorthodoc racing pulley, magnaforce performance cat, and exhaust, Y pipe exhauset 2.5", mags, power slot brakes, momo shifter and evolution steering wheel, never accidented I believe, has been inspected and evaluated at 16 000. I want 12 000, fair is fair. great car love it took care of it only for serious buyer, great looking mods, if interested I'll say more.

who says its worth $16k? WHY?

i don't know how to post pics i can send them to you on a dummy e-mail if you want. 128000 miles, white with a slight blue clear, i didn't say wrecked that it hasn't been, checked the carfax and have a report cleared title, tune up was done with new wires, fuel filter, sparks, etc. don't feel like storing it this winter thats the only reason i'm selling.

A) Is this a base, SL, or vr4? Nobody in their right mind would pay 16k for a '93 vr4 with 128k on the clock, 12 is even pushing it. If it's not a vr4 (which I'm guessing it is not), then whoever 'evaluated' it for 16k is more than overly optimistic, 12k will even be a tough sell. I suggest checking out www.kbb.com to get an idea of what people will expect you to sell it for...and keep in mind mods do not add value.

If you want to post it for sale you need to:
B) post hte VIN so people can run car fax reports

C) post pics. Find somewhere to host them, or upload them onto the AF gallery, and insert the www. address in between and

D) Might want to mention whether it's had the 120k tuneup, and if you have receipts for it. I know you said it had a tuneup, but you just mentioned filters and plugs...people want to know the belts, pulleys, tensioner, waterpump and oil pump have been done as well. If not that is a chunk of change they will have to spend right after buying it.

Haven't done the under the hood and interior thing yet, I'm basing myself of a guy that once offered me 15 000 when i had the car not even a month that's why i'm asking 12 000. it runs great and it's a killer to put it for sale but i don't want to store it. besides i can use the cash for other reasons.

Are there any interior or motor shots?

i don't know who offered you 15,000 for it, but you should have sold it on the spot! your car is obviously NOT a VR4 (no active aero rear wing), its a base or SL. being a 93 with 128k miles, you'd be lucky to get 7,000 for it. however, it appears to be in very good condition from the outside. not sure what the interior looks like.

again, what maintenance has been done? have you done the 120K tune up? (that invovles timing belt, water pump, oil pump, pulleys, accessory belts, etc etc).

Looks good from the pics, and I like the rims. But yeah, as I said before, I think you're gonna be hard pressed to find a buyer willing to pay that much. Also you may want to try listing it on autotrader and on 3si. Good luck

I would pay $4500 for that, maybe $5000. Looks good, but definitely would have to be out of my mind to pay more than that.

Judging from the pics its either a SL or BASE because the wing lacks the active aero... I could buy a 91-95 VR4 with 120,000 miles for 6,000 - 7,000.
I know its sad that these cars havent upheld their vaule like a supra... but the truth is its not worth half of what you want... though its very clean and does have wheels and what not... people dont take that in to prespective... I would say you'll be lucky to get $4,000 for the car.

you are absolutely right i just got the appraisal being 6000 cdn. bah I'm happy with the car, I ended up storing it for the winter and got out of my debt so summer here I come.
