trying to come up with some ideas to beef up my 94 caprice that has the 9C1 package on it. a friend suggested to me a air ram from weapon R.com and i laughed at him. looking into it, but it still seems ludacris. also looking into an MSD ignition. i already got the K&N with the heatshield, oil breather, and flowmaster duel exhaust with the H pipe on it. Any ideas?

If you want a cold air intake for a LT1 powered caprice, I would suggest making one yourself. Its not very costly, and IMO the ones you can buy for the LT1 caprice's arent very good.

If you are computer savvy, and have some time, I would look into some PCM programming from http://www.pcmforless.com

They have done a ton of cars, always works through any problems you have and can customize your program. He can even send you a loner pcm while yours is at his shop being programmed.

Note: I do not work for or know this company personally. I just know a few Caprice / Impala owners who have had work done by him and are happy with it.

i have a 94 x-chp car. i also dont have much money. here is your best mods! 160 thermostat. redline oil from front to rear. i have made my own air intake, but found the ram air the best (ramairss.com) do not waste you money on a throttle body. i have proof. the 502 big block has a 48mm throttle body which is the same as the lt1, you be the judge!! you can also drill a few holes on the bottom of your factory air box. this is called the swiss cheese air intake. i can go on and on. maybe you can check www.goissca.com to check on more.
