Greetings all,
Thinking of a new Z, however have small kids, and car has front airbags. Owner's manual states that nissan can disable the passenger side airbags. I'm curious is anyone has followed through with this process.

Many thanks,

Mike

I picked up my 350Z yesterday. My youngest son is too young to ride in the car (12 and under per the owner's manual). However, the 350Z model specifications page on the Nissan web site (www.NissanDriven.com) states that the passenger air bag on/off switch will be an available accessory on all models. It does note a late availability. Apparently, a dealer can install it for you once they become available.

P.S. The car is great!

I just saw the dealer sheet on the airbag disable switch for the 350Z: about $370 for the parts, plus installation. My dealer gave a rough estimate of about $500 out the door.
