240 v8???

I saw a 95 240 on ebay once that had an LS1 v8 in it....anyone here ever tried it or wanted to? just lookin to see if anyone has ever tried it and if so what was involved to make it work.

yeah it can be done. theres a kit for it i think. not a bad swap i admit

lots of people have done it, search freshalloy and ls1tech.

I almost tried it.
In the end, I wanted to buy the car the engine came from.

actually the kid i bought my shell from was preparing to swap an lt1 into it but quit after he stripped the entire car. he also cut a big hole in the transmission tunnel, so that leads me to believe the t56 bellhousing is a bit bigger than the ka bellh0ousing.
