well, this forum has really died overtime. I guess everyone has gotten busy and bored including myself. Just wanted to see how all the regulars have been lately and how life is treating them as we have all kinda lost touch.

As for me, in the past few months i have been arrested, been in a motorcycle accident, and partied my ass off. Everything bad that has happened has been motorcycle related but i still have no complaints.

As for my Z, believe it or not...I am still awaiting the motor or else it would be done by now. I suggest from anyone that is considering getting work doen through UltimateZ to think again. I have yet to know about the quality but the Customer relations, responsibility, timliness, and all around business behavior is definitely well below par. I dropped my motor off June 12 expecting it to be done no later than July 12, according to Chris, the store owner. Fine and dandy...well...several phone calls later, a 1 week cruise to the Bahamas, a motorcyle purchase, an arrest, and about 3 months later i still am being told another week or 2. Not only that, but they do not have the courtesy to pick up the phone and keep me updated. I have been told several times that I would receive a phone call back within a week, or the next day, or an about an hour and yet, i have to call back everytime. I am lost for words about the whole thing. I honestly don't know who is to blame, UltimateZ for being slow on ordering the parts, which i know is part, the machine shop performing the work, which i don't know as i have not spoken to them, or a little of both.

Last week i was told that it would be a few more days beings Chris needed to order some seals that the machine shop is waiting on. I will be calling back expecting the motor to be finished as eh did not call after a 3 days to tell me it was done or it needed more time. I would not be half as frustrated and upset if he would jsut pick up the phone and tell me whats going on instead of me always having to call him and him having a cague answer.

Well, that is me venting about my car beings it is getting colder and colder and i need my car more and more as my bike is getting ready for storage.

I will also have to post pics of my bike after it was painted black. it turned out pretty ok and i think looks alot better. Still needs wetsanded and buffed but i think i will take it back apart once i get my car done and redo the whole thing. Then a forsale sign will be going on it to make room for my new toy. All Black Kawasaki ZX10R.

I was going to bet you and everyone else on the forum that you'd crash the bike inside a few months. Then I remember that no one would bet against the surest thing of all sure things. :)

I'm a drafter again. (www.deainc.com) Other than that not too much has happened.

I visit here now and then... but it's pretty dead!

So, I'm leaving California for good and moving to Arizona afterall and going into business with my pops. I'm becoming a Machinist apprentice. 5 years I'll be an owner! Selling the Supra so we can buy the lot we are on and use some of it for the new Z32 project.

I've been pretty busy moving my stuff gradually on the weekends in my Z... still working at my other job in Cali. until the end of October.

Sucks about your engine, Jason. If you guys ever need work done let me know. You all know where to find me!

It's good to see some familiar faces here. How are all your projects going?

yeah, thats why i bought an older/starter bike because i knew i was going to go down but i cant complain. i havent gone down doing any tricks or anything. i went down because i was watching the grocery bag stuck in my rear tire, i have never disliked littering in my life so much until that day.

George, i am sure i will be needing some machine work eventually and good luck with the move to AZ. i have never been but i heard its beautiful weather down there especially beings most of it is a huge desert.

"Beautiful" as in 110^ ambient temps for months at a time, lots of blowing sand to destory machinery, high winds just about all the time, a noon sun that will kill you if you are under it for too long, a road way system that makes Detriot look inspired...and it just keeps going.

Hahahaha sounds like an awesome place....

For those who I havent told, I have started a "real" job nowadays. Im now an accountant in a pretty swanky area of Perth. The job is pretty good too. The stuff Im doing there is interesting and the people I work with are all pretty cool. The whole having to get up every morning sucks a bit but everone tells me ill get used to it... having to be clean shaven every time im at works is also a bit of a shock to the system too... :banghead:

On the car front... Im still driving my little startet bubble car, but I have a few options for my next car/s. Buying an MR2 will definately be one of them and I hope to be getting one of them quite soon. Given its my girlfriends birthday November the 14th then I hope to get it before then :p After I get that... The eternal question... what next... A wide body 240Z that need some work and a VH45de engine swap... A done up GT4 Celica... Or a worked mini.... decisions decisions....

Actually... I'm not living in an area where it's too hot. I live in Payson where it's always 20 degree's cooler and the desert is about 90 miles away. Pines are pleantiful and the mountains are filled with elk!

Plus now I have a kick ass job... and can you say 'owner' in about 5 years? :D

But really... if you guys need any maching done. Let me know.

alright i guess i'll play along...

my project is on hold for about 2 years while i'm in school and about 1000 miles away from home and my car... altho plans for this summer is to get the intercooler piped in, get some new springs/shocks on there... perhaps some new shoes if i'm feeling wealthy.

hopefully with school i'll learn some things about airflow etc and be able to design the new standard in z31 intake plenums and stuff like that... and by then i'll be able to get a job to satisfy my expensive habits...

yeah, thats like pheonix...i was thinking more along the lines of Flagstaff, where you can go up in the mountains and snowboard with pants and a t-shirt on and then come back down and go jump in a pool with a margarita and chill in the beautiful 85 degree, non-existent humidity, atmosphere. i have family in pheonix and let's just say i could not live there, almost as bad as las vegas in august. whoever thought of putting big cities right in the middle of deserts was probably not the brightest kid in school.

In which case, in about 5 years i will be moving to Payson, Arizona where my long time buddy Jorge is gonna hook me up with a awesome job making all my dreams on paper real. As in the baddest Twin GT42 powered Z32 in the nation! Or how about a twin turboed 500rwhp Kawasaki ZX10R thats fully boosted at 20psi at about 8krpms. :evillol:

yeah, good luck with all that. :) btw: you are a ponce! j/k bro. you should get that manifold built first so you can replace that stock turbo that is getting ready to take a s*** on you. should join a night machine class and make nice with the professor. i bet you could make a class project out of those custom manifolds. :)

yeah no can do.. already have 6 or so hours of class a day with another 3 hours of hw on top of it... so i'm a little busy for night courses which is too bad cause it would have been nice to take a welding course.

the exhaust manifold is my first order of business when i grad from college and find a solid job... hopefully be able to find a place to work on it due to the fact i'll probably be at an apartment or something... you know how it goes.

anyway good luck with that twin gt-42... considering a single one would more than max out the capability of the engine... :p

I believe that would be a "hood" Yaggus. ;)

As in "Yaggus doesn't have much going on under his hood."

Although now that I think about it the two terms are interchangable in just about any useage, automotive and otherwise.

Well, my N/A convertible Z32 is still chuggin away on that used motor despite a small ignition timing issue. Hoping to have a full TT swap sitting in a shop stall waiting to be rebuilt within the next few months. And maybe in the next 6 months I will be able to swap in a 400+ rwhp TT. That is after about $9000 in parts (including the clip). Well....I'm glad everyones doin good....Jason good luck w/ that twin GT-42 powered Z32.....and your motor that Ultimate Z has stolen from you and put into another car hoping that you will forget about it....:screwy:
