steering off center

I have 02 LTZ my steering wheel was of center to left, I took it to the dealer
they told me it was a lack of tire rotation. I said rotate them and again the steering off but this time it was to right. After two wheel alignment and the rotation they telling that i need a four new tire . I think they are trying to hook me had anyone had this problem.

Sounds like you have an odd-ball sized tire, or one tire worn much more than the others. A total nightmare for a 4x4.:uhoh:

all my tire are oe and the right size but, could a bad tire cause this. when i took the car to dealer the steering was a lots off center to the left after the rotation and the aligment it was off a slight less but to the right.

Yes, an underiflated or severly worn tire could cause this.

What you may be describing is a lead/pull caused by tires.
How many miles are on your tires and how often to you have them rotated.
I would suggest some new tires.

PS tires need regular maintenence...always check the tire pressure and keep it in specs..also rotate your tires on a regular basis

my ltz had 30000. the tires two newer, two oe. new tires are on the front.we
don't use it much. about 6 mi. a day
