Rear intermittent wiper mod?

I did a search and came up with nothing.

I want to add an intermittent rear wiper delay to my 89 hatch. I got one of those "universal" boxes but there are no instructions for my application. Has anyone done this before? Any info is appreciated. Thanks! :)

How many wires are coming out of the box, and what controls does it have?

Thanks for the reply. It's a Roberk wiper delay control, it has six wires, and all it does is delay the wiper (no other features).

Thanks again but I already have those instructions. But you're right, I can figure this out eventually, I just was wondering if anyone has already tried to do this so I can avoid catching my car on fire. lol

I noticed that its also a two speed controler, the rear wiper you have is one speed, so you may have to switch it somehow so that it isnt allways intermittent.

I think that is covered by the box, there is just one knob on the box, ranging from off to 25 seconds. I've hooked the box to 12v and operated it. Seems like when the box is switched off power bypasses the box and sends power to the wiper system directly. I'll fiddle with it more. In the meantime if anyone has some advice or experiance with this please let me know. Thanks again!
