Speedometer Problem 2000 RL

Yesterday I was replacing one of the burnt out lights in my gauge cluster on my 2000 3.5RL. After i put all back together, the speedemer does not work no more.. everything else still works the way it should except now, i dunno how fast im going.. ANY solutions?? Or do i need to replace it?? Thanks

Sorry I can't help you but maybe you can help me. I need to change a bulb in my cluster as well, a '97 RL. Was it hard to get to? How did you get in there?

when you replaced the silver screws on the back of the gauge cluster they are different lengths you put them in wrong so the speed ometer is not grounding properly.:loser:
