Camaros don't have bad handling, it just appears that way because they go into a turn much faster than most other sport cars after acclerating so freaking much down a stright section. :icon16:

LOL. i agree.. except for the whole wet traction thing. thats just fucking scary. i have another theory!
that another reason why it seems camaros cant handle well is because when the back end breaks loose.. all hell breaks loose too, since our cars stick to the ground a lot :D so when it slides...its GONE. super hard to recover (unless its in the rain ;D)

Hydroplaining sucks ass. happened to me twice in the iroc and both times i hit someone. was only going like 10-20mph both times.
my theory: dry roads = awsome handling, etc wet roads = death

Only car I ever lost control of was a front wheel drive (first one). Never lost a rear wheel, even on black ice.

Lost my first Z in rain.
A lot of it has to do with the weight distribution and type of tires you're running.

Yeah, you got damn lucky. That's how I totaled mine, overcorrected, bit and spun 180 and smashed my rear axle on a sewer drain. Shifted the whole back end of the car 6 inches to the right. Fun times. :banghead:

Stack about 6 24 packs of coke in the hatch and you'll be fine.

Yeah I love a good challenge. I drove my 240 in a snow storm, and on the highway with the donut lol. maybe it's because I don't have LSD, which I look forward to.

Its all in the tires....I just drove home last night in a huge down pour, so bad I could hardly see the road. No loss of traction, no hydroplaning..nada. I drive on a set of Kumho Escta 712's, 245 50WR 16...They absolutely refuse to hydroplane. The badyear gatorbacks that came on the car were horrible, may as well have been driving on water skies.
