fog lights and bright headlights

is there any way to make the fog lights stay on when you turn on the brights on a 2001 gt

Yes but it requires extensive modification. Here is the tech procedure for up to '99. I am not sure if it will work on a 2001 model but it would be a similar process and probably require the GM wiring diagram to be sure. GM may have changed the wiring and color coding on subsequent year models.
