I run stock size 235-75-R15 Cooper Discoverer AST tires on my '97 but to tell you the truth, I can't feel a ride difference until you get into nylon bias, 8 ply tires on a cold morning when they get the giant flat spot on'em.

i'm kinda tough on mine so i always get light/medium duty truck tires. i love the bridgestone Duelers, i have the H/T highway tread which does fine for me off road. a lot quieter than the A/T all terain tires and handles well with a full load at highway speeds too. here's a pic of mine fully loaded:

Looks like you/ve had some experience with "forgot this and forgot that"...don't look like ya'll forget much with that rig.
Eric's Bravada's song...
Take a load off Fanny, take a load for free;
Take a load off Fanny, And (and) (and) you can put the load right on me

I remember that song from "The Band", wasn't it an ode to the evacuation of the southern cities during the civil war? Out west here in the territories we had a small mining town that was divided in alliances by the war and a group of the southerner's decided to split off and form their own town called "Sucession". The name still lives on to this day.

That's interesting. I guess it's better to split early and stay friends than to drag it out and create a hostile environment ...at least that's how my sister and her ex handled their's...they're still friends and the young'uns can't play one against the other.
