problems w/ 2001 chevy 25hd *Allison trans. HELP

i HAVE a 2001 chey 25hd crewcab
It has 71000 miles, and just recently began leaking what looks like transmission fluid, It was not shift gears when driving either, and MY
Reduced engine power light and check engine power light are lit.

Please help what could be the problem.
Any suggestions would be great.....

if that mofo's under warranty, take it to the dealer and if theres a problem, try to get a new tranny from em

I Have A 01 Chevy 2500 Pickup With An Allison Transmission. The Transmssion Starts In 1st Gear And Then Bangs Into 3rd Gear. Can Anyone Offer Any Advise?

Welcome to AF, a scan with a trans function scanner can look at shift control solenoids for a proper diagnosis. BTW you have tacked onto an old thread, when we are done here this will be closed, check the dates and content before posting and/or start a new thread, thanks.

Amco transmission shops offer a free scan in the area I live in they will also give you a quote for the job. At this point do what you think is your best option fix it your self if possible.
