Yeah, I took on another passion. The gas prices got me thinking back in June so I picked up one of these. Took the Motorcycle Safety Course and got licensed.:screwy:

Suzuki Burgman 650 Scooter. Don't laugh to loud. It does 110 mph and gets 42-52 mpg!!!
But I still love and drive my Silvy. The bike can't keep you warm in the Winter and the Truck looked great in Aug when it hauled both the bike and our travel trailer up to South Lake Tahoe for vacation.:iceslolan

pretty nice. I thought about getting my motorcycle license too.
If I were to get a bike though, I would have to get a goldwing.. I love those bikes.

Yeah my brother in law has one of those Burgman's. Nice low riding and decent speeds and decent looking, like a "Minime" version of a Goldwing.
I thought about the Motorcycle thing too but, then realized I'd probably want a crotch rocket and probably wouldn't be on this planet that much longer.
Think I'll stick with 4 wheels to the pavement....
Enjoy. :D

ANOTHER person I know was killed in a bike/car crash 3 days ago . I gave up 2 wheelers when a good friend widowed a wife and 2 kids 10 years ago. My kids were the same age . Its not the rider - its the women in big SUKs on the phone that you have to watch out for . Rob

I'm sorry you had to deal with that type of loss. I work in Orthopedics in a level I trauma center and am acutely aware of what can happen and conduct myself accordingly. There's danger everyday in just doing the normal activities of life. I don't let it rob me of a passion and I don't get stupid with it either. And besides that...the flames stay (but the bugs go)!!!
