Anybody have their windshield break...from the top left side corner?

Mine broke...a few months ago...and today I noticed another small crack from the lower extreme right corner...WTH is going on..body flex, rusty frame syndrome..or just plain bad luck?

NO such event on mine...but lately, my '93 started exhibiting a loud CLUNK under the right seat when starting accelerating, and then when applying brakes....and again accelerating....and again braking.....
I have not seriously investigated yet...but any hint from others might help point in the right direction. I have had the whole collection of clunks from the front suspension/steering elements in the past, but this one is definitely not part of that family.

I just noticed that I have lost both left and right front...jackpads..I hope no one got hurt when they flew off....

You should investigate that clunk under your seat it must be where the frame tee's off to the jackpad....

Come to think of it I have a clunk too....

HE...got to investigate the "clunk" and found two things:
1) I had not fully torqued the sub frame rear bolts after I had it lowered to access the rear spark plugs: tightened the bolts almost one full turn and the clunk went away..it seems.
2) I found the right unit body tee extension that supports the right front jackpad as severely corroded...and as I barely touched the jack pad....it fell down! ON the left side, it is AOK....so I'll figure out some patch to the right side ....

Same thing with mine..on both sides but the drivers worst than the other... it seems this is a weak spot wiht these types.

Do you think other than for the jackpad...is there any danger for body flex or any support that the frame needs?

Well...obviously I'll live with it....I would solder a patch with electric welder...but the most outside part is flush with composite body....may be there is room to insert some insulation..well a piece of metal in between to avoid melting the body. I do not think this is a catastrophic failure but surely, I would at least scrape it and cover it with fiberglass and then fully coat the area with antirust coating.
