dash light and sunroof problems

So I had problems with the Multifunction switch, replaced it and since then the dash lights won't come on at all. The dimming switch doesn't seem to be the problem given they intermittently worked before replacing the multifunction switch, and when the dimmer switch is fully turned, the interior lights come on as expected.

So I've checked all my fuses and they seem fine. What I'm wondering is if perhaps there's a relay somewhere for the dashlights I might have tripped. I understand there's some relays way up in the dash for the flashers, is there one for the dashlights as well? Or is it just that I might have connected the multifunction switch up incorrectly.

Btw, it's all the lights on the dash to include A/C lights. Gets rather dark in the car at night if it wasn't for the fact the overhead lights do work and the stereo works.

Second problem is the Sunroof. Originally it wouldn't fully seat. I looked to see if it was off track (dummy me for not taking it apart) and didn't see it was off. So after doing some research, I tried adjusting the motor. Well it sat but then it wouldn't move. So I took it all apart, and sure enough, it was originally off track. I got it back in place, but now it won't work at all. Checked fuses, they seem fine. Motor didn't sound like it was being overworked so I can't believe I could have burned it out that fast. Readjusted the motor back to the original setting, still won't work. Any other thoughts or did I really burn it out and if so, where can I get a new one?

Well it sounds like a relay may have gone for your lighting problem. I'm not 100% sure on where it is for your year, but it's either in the fuse block inside the car or under the hood by the firewall. You can check you car's manual to see if it's listed and where to look. It could be something else, but i would try there first and see.

For your sunroof issues... I can't help ya much there, just make sure everything is moving in sync, cause it sounds like something is not connected properly. Is the sunroof motor making any noises, or it's not doing anything at all? You may have burnt it out, or knocked some wires loose and didn't realize it.

good luck
