Tail lights for a 95-99 cavalier

these lights are in like new condition and come with bulbs and as you can see....the white part is actualy white and not a yellow color like you see on some cavaliers that are not well maintained

these will also fit on an 00-02 cavy but those were a different style so idk if you would want these

But! I'm glad you started this thread because totally coincidentally I decided to change my tailights today but i'm not sure if i want to or not so I need your peoples opinions. I still have these chrome tailights that came from my 2.2, so far I don't have any buyers near me so I figured why not, I might as well use them but they're the cheapest tailights you can find on ebay and there's also another red Cavalier around here that has them and a white one as well. And lately I've been against euro lights just because they're getting old and I hate seeing POS stock civics with just ebay fart cans and euro tails. I basically don't wanna look like some kid who thinks he's a racer from the Fast&F. with these things on. Idk what do you guys think I should do? Return to stock reds or do the chromies look good enough to keep?

Those clear tails on your cavy lance look bad imo. The stock ones look way better. get some yota tails and throw them on there.

IMO you should go back to the stock tails. Euros just look horrible on almost any car.

i think they look good, but i dont like chrome euros cuz everyone has them and thats why i got black ones

Paint all of it black with that VHT paint :thumbsup: minus the red circles I think that would look sick!

nice tail light lance i got the same ones but my houseing is liek Carbon fiber

it wasn't really that dark, just looked like it in the pic, the sky was like a dark royal blue

Yeah, I used the vinyl and fabric paint lol mainly because the krylon i had was too dark and almost looked like magenta, up close it's not as good looking but i did it half ass just to try it and see what it looked like, but i like it, it'll probly flake off or react from the heat but whatever, it kept me busy for a little while, i do like it tho, so i might buy another $50 set from ebay and do it again with more care and try harder.

Yeah I definatley think you should get another pair and do it good this time, they really turned out nice..........from farther away lol

They look good man but the pics of them up close it looks like the circles are a little off :lol:

but you said your going to buy another pair right? so then you could take your time and make them look good.

They're not off, it's because the red reflector inside is deeper inside the assembly so the sides of the hole that's chrome you see from an angle. If you look at the second picture down, the circles are fine, because you're looking at it head on so you can't see the chrome sides. Nothing I could do about that, that's just how the lights are made.

WOW!! I actually have to admit that looks really cool. About the gaps can you just move the lights over a little bit?

*EDIT* How does that middle strip connect? do you just bolt it on like the normal 95-99 tails?

Not unless I do some slight modding so I'm able to move them over more, I'd have to cut some metal tho, you've taken off taillights before so you know what I'm talking about, they can only go over so far.

Yeah your talking about the holes that the bolts go through right? I know what you mean you can only move them in each direction so far.

That looks pretty sweet u need to get that painted red tho like the pics of the white and black cavy's u put up they looked sick oh ya and another thing take the cavalier and chevy emblems off or leave just the Cavalier 1 on my car i took the emblem off the front and the chevy 1 on the back n left the cavy 1 but after awhile i took the cavy 1 off too

Hmm, now you got me thinking, maybe rather then shaving the emblems, I'll get 03+ emblems...possibly an 03+ bumper too..hmm

haha that would be kool, first ive seen. If I saw it going past id be thinkin "what the hell?!?". Too bad only cavy owners would be able to respect it. Others wouldnt even notice it was different.
