The B13 Sunny is the Sentra we had in the early 90's, like mine. However, I've only ever seen 4-door Sunny's on the web...did the 2 door's go by a different name, or were they not even offered in Japan?

The Sunny was also badged as the Pulsar and Sentra NZ, Australia, and Japan.
It depended on what year it was, the trim level offered, and what name the marketing guys thought would sell the most.
And yes, 3, 4 and 5 door version of all 3 were made and sold.
However going of the imports Iv seen on the road, most of the 3 door hatchs were were badged as Pulsars, while the larger 4 and 5 door models were badges as Sunnys and Sentras. (but Iv seen all 3 names on all 3 models.)
But I have never seen a model that looked like yours though.
Howeve I have seen a sort of 2 door coupe looking thing with a Sunny badge on it that might be a restyled prettyied up version of your car.

Mine's a 2 door, not 3...it has an actual trunk/boot

Well the frount bumber will fit easy, and so should a back bumber if there is one. However the side skirts will be a little to long, and you will have to cut a section out of the middle. Not a hard job if you know what your doing, but an added cost to think about.
But why?
Unless you have a GTiR, SSS or the silly US SE-R then thier not exactly a great performance car.

To set it apart from the others without being hideous. It'll be a decent performance car when the SR20DET goes in
Actually I think the side skirts will fit, my friend has an identical car except 4 door, and the rocker panels are identical on both, same length. I just have 2 longer doors instead of 4 shorter doors.

Yeah, the Lucino was later and badged as the 200SX here in the later 90's. Videonasty has one.

Oh, and the Blue Bird for some years in Japan was also a rebadged Sentra, Lucino what ever, but for others just used the Sentra Platform, but with a larger uglier body on top.

I'm assuming the SR20DET is the turbocharged variant of the Nissan TwinCam aka 200SX/Silvia?
I think they also stuck the NX-R body on the Nissan Sunny/Pulsar/Sentra/Lucino platform too (that's the little three door with headlights that look like buckets - real aero!)
By the way, the current S14 200SX in New Zealand (which is about to be axed to make way for 350Z) is 184kW standard as a manual - it's the Type S spec Japanese market car - which is a bit more the Australian spec version which is configured to run on 91 octane gas.
The auto versions have less power but supposed more even torque...
It's a great little engine as most GTI-R and Silvia owners will attest. It's a pity about the 200SX though - there's going to be a $15,000 or 33% step in price from 200SX to the likely cost of a 350Z which is a real pity.
I had a look at an S14 including a weekend drive package a while back but I need a four door these days...

Yeah, the DET is the turbo variant of the SR20 engine that in plenty of hotter Nissan cars.
We had the NX as well, both in NX 1600 form with the GA16DE and NX 2000 with the SR20DE.
As far as the SX cars, we had what was called the 200SX in the 80's, it was a S11 Silvia. A year or 2 after the S12 was introduced in Japan, it was brought out here as the new 200SX. Once the S13 came out, we only got the 180SX (with the popup headlights), badged as a 240SX. Mid-90's, the new 240SX came out (it was an S14 Silvia) and the 180SX (I believe that's what your 200SX is, isn't it?) was dropped. The mid 90's also saw the return of a 200SX badged car in North America, which was the late 90's Lucino. The S15 was never brought here, and the 240SX name died, as did the 200SX once the B15 Sentra arrived.

Ooopss did I say current S14... I meant S15 is the current model here.
All of the 1995 on cars are 200SX because they were 2.0 litres only the 1.8litre variant which appears here as a second hand Japanese import is a 180SX. And the Lucino which we also see here looks a lot different!

You mean the Tsuru? The B13 Sentra (like mine) is still sold new in Mexico as the Nissan Tsuru...it has new complex reflector headlights and a new grill, as well as new taillights. I'm still not sure I like the new grill, but I love the headlights. I would get the headlights for my car if you didn't have to get the new grill as well in order for them to fit. I do however, want to get my hands on a set of the new taillights that have the orange part cleared out.

Thats exactly why I got it. Just bought it to take me to College and work. Im almost finished my stereo install, so it sounds pretty good, and driving standard is a fun change too. As you know, gas is pretty expensive here in Ontario, and with the 350 in the Caprice and a few other mods, my gas milage is down to around ~10mpg. (Mostly due to the fact that I drive it hard, but thats the whole point :D )

Your wish is my command :D I took this a few weeks ago and scanned it in tonight. Its not a full pic of the car, as I am currently doing some work on the exhaust and installing a bigger oil pan for more oil capacity to go with the new oil pump I installed a while back. I will get a better pic when I am finished with the oil pan and exhaust work. :)

showing my ignorance here... the Caprice is a big RWD(?) car sometimes used as a Police Car as is the Ford Crown Victoria...
Incidentally, the Ford Fairmont Auto (Australian) that the family had got about 16mpg and it had a 302 made at Windsor (which I seem to recall is in your province... I think). It eventually got sold after 5 years and 30,000 km or so of driving (ie a very miniscule 12,000 miles or about 200 miles a month) to some very lucky person and I finally convinced Dad to replace it with something smaller and more economical, I got him to buy a BMW 328iSE with a 5 speed auto.

Hummer Man: are you sure your sentra is a 92???because its a B12 chassis, which I believe were done away with in 90 at least in the states. the B13(Mark's Sentra) began in 91.
but then canada is a odd strange place:confused:
Heep: I have a few buddies with the Mex front ends on their B13s. its just enought of a change to set them apart from every other econobox on the road, and looks slightly more agressive, and the tails look nice with the lack of amber.
(and here I am trying to get JDM full amber corners for my B14! :) which look better than clears IMO, but then again, JDM is the only way to travel:D :D )

Thanks for the kind words. As you can see right behind the back wheel there is a little bit of rust brewing. I will be taking care of that ASAP before the cancer spreads. (They use alot of salt on the roads here in the winter)
As far as the plain wheels and the lack of SS badging its because AFAIK there was no such thing as a Caprice SS in 91, (I thought about getting a set of SS rims, but I want my car to stand out from the SS) infact mine is just badged as a "Caprice Classic". And when I bought it it had a very unhealthy 305ci engine in it, no posi, etc... It is almost 100% stock on the outside, but I will try to get an underhood pic soon. It wont look like much, but the 350 i dropped in with a few mods helps it to get going much better (the auburn posi was a nice touch as well :D ) Also helps me when towing my boat to my camp, the 170hp 305 was quite weak. I had the 350 dyno'd a in the spring shortly after I put it in and before some of my more recent mods and I had 284.7 at the rear wheels.

I am 99.9% sure it is a 92. The title says its a 92, as well as the sticker on the inside of the door that says 02/92. It actually has confused the hell out of me a few times, for example I went to get an air filter and when I looked in the book for fram filters, it shows the 92 as having a panel-type filter, while mine uses the rounder kind. Went to the Nissan dealer and told him what I wanted. I didnt like the price he quoted me ($28.50 CAD for a lousy air filter :bloated: ) , so I went back to walmart and bought the fram filter for a 90 Sentra and it fit fine. (Saved me a bundle too)

It is indeed a 1992...Nissan Canada has a tendency to slowly fade out Sentra models. The B13 came out in 1991, but the B12 was still being offered a year or two after as the Sentra Classic. Also, the B14 came out in 1995 (I think), but the B13 was offered in 1995 and 1996 as the Sentra something...I dunno if it was Classic or what.
