I just bought my brand new 2006 Lancer ES. It is my first car and so far I love it. I don't want to make any major modifications at this point but I was planning on doing some small things to slightly improve Gas Mileage and horsepower. I know there are several thigns out there I could do but I really don't know anything about what those things are or how to go about them so I was hoping for some advice and suggestions

Not many things out there will improve gas mileage AND increase horsepower. It's really one or the other. But things like an cold air intake bump up horswepower by 2 or 3 HP, yet only take away about 1 or 2 mpg total, so it's really not too bad of a trade off.

Hmmmm basicly now that I own my own car I wanna start taking a look into things I can do to either add Horse power or gas mileage and start working on it. I know its kind of a comprehensive thing to ask but I really don't know where else to start.
