I just replaces my airbag in my alero, because the horn was bad, and the airbag light keep blinking intermitently while I drive down the road, then goes off. How do I reset this, is it like the oil change light

Did you scan the car for DTC's before you replaced the airbags?
Should hav been a code stored, and it will probly need reset with a scan tool.
And Welcome to AF !

Never heard of DTC's to be honest, what about if I put the old airbag back in, I still have that, would that fix the problems?

No !
The DTC is Diagnostic trouble codes.
You need a scanning tool to reset that air bag light most likly.
Could also be your ABS module that bad, its under the passenger seat I think.
Tho, the ABS mod will need to be checked by a stealership.

You mean the sirs module, right, anyway a full function Snap-On mt 2500 scanner can check sirs codes also.

Before you go replacing parts in your car, have it scanned as mentioned before. Just because the airbag light is on doesn't mean the airbag itself is bad. Sensors or wiring are most likely to blame for the issue.
