Greetings

I just picked up an '88 Vette Ragtop today and as My wife followed me home she notice I had a brake/turn signal bulb out. How to you get to the back of the fixture to replace the bulb since there is no trunk?

Hopefully you have long skinny arms , or find someone that does. For the inner lights, go through the license plate opening . You can reach the outer light from the license plate hole too, but its much easier to reach up above the muffler , while laying on the ground. Thats how I used to do it.

Well I thanked you for this advice yesterday but tried that method today and it didn't work on my 85. There was just too much junk back there to even see the light. Looks like the only way for me is to find someone who has a skinny arm and go up under the bumper..
