Hey guys. Ive been gone for awhile but i need some help.

I was leaving my apartment to go to work and i kinda sideswiped a pole:banghead: . I already have a fender but i have no clue where to go to get the paint. I was hoping to get it in a spray can and ive checked advance auto parts, Autozone, NAPA and O'Reilly for the factory match and havent had any luck. Does anyone know where i can go to get the OEM matching paint. The color of my car is Galaxy Silver Metallic. I have no clue what the paint code is but i could find it if that helps. Thanks for any help.

Oooooo, that sucks :disappoin . I almost did the same thing a few weeks ago. The paint codes are normally listed in the trunk on the trunk lid of the car. I had the code for the galaxy silver, but i forgot what it was and where i put it.

Here's a web site you can order the paint (http://www.paintscratch.com/), they are a little pricey but it's very close to exact match. You may want to consider on bringing the fender to a body shop and having them paint it, there's less guess work, and it'll possibly come out better if your not steady with a spray can. good luck!

thanks grfnkl. I myself feel pretty comfortable with a paint can i thought about a body shop and am still weighing my options. It sucks so bad that i F'ed up my fender but oh well...she still runs just fine. Thanks again

You'll never get that painted right with a can :nono:

I paint cars regularly, and its not to much $$ if you remove/install the parts and just hav the booby shop paint it.

NAPA can order the paints for your car, in pints and quarts and probly gallons, but thats REAL expensive.

Frront fender ?

Booby shop? Sounds like a plastic surgeon's ad... Anyway, if you really want to go with the spray can thought, most body shops will mix aerosol cans for you. Personally, I'd shoot it with a gun or have a body shop spray it for you. Most of the labor isn't there as you would be bringing in a fender already removed from the car. Good luck with it.
