I just learned this! I will update by EDITING as I learn more.....
If you want to save a thread here (or anywhere on the Internet), just do what
I outlined below. Then the files can be saved to a CD and viewed anytime offline.
Give it a name and click "Save"
The page will be saved where you put it. A Sub-directory is created
below your directory.
Now - If you are off line......Using Windows Explorer, find your directory and click
on a file named "filename.htm".
Your browser will open (not connect though) and show you the entire forum
page with all the pictures intact!
Give the files names relating to the thread - page1, page2, etc or however you want!
The point is, these directories with the pages you saved on your Hard Drive
can be copied to a CD for permanence....
Save Both the filename.htm and the subdirectory below it.
This Forum will go the way of all flesh someday. Maybe ImageShack will poop
out or Photobucket or whatever Image Storage you use....
More to come.

PS - if someone told me this before, please excuse me. I am dense!
