Vent Problem 98 GTP

I have a problem with my vent system as well. I have a 98 GTP with the electronic air control system (the one that tells you the temp outside, it's the dual temp control). for the air and the heat, whatever you are doing it blows air out of all the vents equally. It doesnt blow that hard either. i can tell the air is cold when i have the AC on and the heat definately heats up the car, it just takes forever. Does anyone know if there is some kind of switch or door that would cause this? or perhaps a diagram or knowledge of how the whole vent system works?

Possible you may be missing accessory vacuum to HVAC so check the vacuum line on top of the supercharger which will route over to the battery and then into the firewall to the HVAC system and actuators. At the battery is a coupler that may become disconnected after working around the battery.

The digital and manual HVAC systems may exhibit different symptoms when accessory vacuum is missing. On my GTP with accessory vacuum disconnected I get a low amount of airflow out the middle vents and minimal out the defrost (feels like being blocked) and most of the airflow is out the floor vents.

Also, the idle is a little higher than normal when that vaccum line is removed. But check it out first. Good luck.
