I spy a crack and some rust...lolyeah I thought I saw a crack but wasnt sure if thats what it was. they do almost look stock and I thought that maybe they just cut them but you said the ride is nice and if they were cut you would be bouncing all over the place.

09-25-2006, 07:14 PM
is that bad?
my99cavy
09-25-2006, 07:16 PM
ummmm yeah it could turn into a big problem like the crack going all the way through and the coil breaking which will lead to the spring collapsing.

Potentially.... I have no idea what those are. Lookin as blue struts are normally monroe brand.. I am going to go ahead and guess they are cut stock springs. But if it ride nice for you, i could be wrong.

me and my dad just went out to inspect the springs and we found that they were not cut but compressed cuz there are like 4 coils scrunched togeather at the top of the rear springs and about 3 coils compressed at the bottom of the front springs....and that was not a crack, just a piece of paint that flaked off, but that sure scared me

the scrunched springs in back is normal... and the front should have a tapered end. lol...
