Paint Code For Interior Door Panels

I've looked at all the threads on how to paint the interior, but none of them say anything about painting the doors. I have some experience painting, I've painted a few things on the interior of my car and a few guitars. So for my girlfriends b'day I'm gonna paint the interior of her doors cause the paint's peeling off and it looks like black and tan camoflauge. She wants it to look stock, so it needs to be able to match the dash and everything else that is that color. Does anybody know if there's a paint code that I could take to an automotive paint store to get the right color? Oh yeah, it's a 2002 and the color looks pretty much like black. Thanks for the help.

So you want to paint the actual door panels and not behind them where there is the bare metal correct??

it is just melted plastic if you are talking about the panels, maybe someone painted them before you. pressure washer might help

It's not the metal part. And the paint that is peeling off is black, what's behind it is tan. I'm almost positive that it wasn't painted black because then they would've had to paint the dash, console, and everything else black also. And nothing else is peeling but the doors, so I don't think they painted it all or some of the other would be peeling to cause I figure they would have done it all the same way. Do u know what the black color is called so I could get the paint to paint the plastic part?

Sry, I apologize. The doors were tan and the former owner painted them black. So now I don't have to match the paint to anything. Sry I wasted your time. Thanks anyway.

I kinda figured that the previous owner had painted over the tan. My guess is he just used Dupli color black paint.

Negative, all it did was bubble. The pics of me peeling it off was all my doing, to remove it.
