interior paint?

how do u paint da interior of ur car? wat do u need n wer do u get the stuff?

Well, I'd tell you what I did but it didn't work out so good lol So i'll tell you what my friend did with his cav, he hasnt had any problems with it for like 2-3 years he said and the car is a show car and its been in magazines. All he used was Krylon primer, regular Krylon paint, and Krylon clear. He said he got them from Wal-Mart for like $2 a can.

I bought the expensive 5 bucks a can Vinyl paint...but it won't do crap unless you prime and then use clear coat TRUST ME. i've wasted about 50 bucks in paint and repaint, lol.

*EDIT* but basically what you have to go to get the glossy look is sand all the pieces completly smooth, then prime, paint, clear, and rubbing compound. you can get everything you need at an Autozone, Advanced auto, etc etc.

Not 100% true. I dunno if you've seen what the actual vinyl part of my dash looked like but someone told me that when you use the vinyl paint on vinyl (rather then that hard plastic) you're not supposed to sand or prime, it's supposed to just spray right onto the vinyl and be fine. Idk for sure tho.

The white Vinyl part of my dash is JUST Vinyl paint..no sand, no prime, no clear. ...actually it's all just vinyl paint and that is my stupid mistake for mistaking vinyl with plastic...mind you this was like my first project for my car and I was car stupid..okay still am but...okay i have no excuse i'm sorry, lol.
