Hi all,

After a fantastic response from you guys to my query about Tokyo model shops I'm testing you all again!!

I am planning a visit to New Zealand in November. Can anyone suggest any Motorsport related model shops or book shops that are worth a visit?

I'm looking for F1 related stuff, specifically, resin, aftermarket photo etch, Studio 27, MFH, F1 related literature - you know the kind of thing!

Regards,

ChinaMalc

There is a very nice and well stocked LHS in Christchurch...I don't remember the name&location, though. But it's easy to find, beeing the only one (in the city centre).

Cheers

Acorn Models is no longer in Auckland as far as know.

Best shops in Auckland i think would be Hobby City on Quay Street in the City and ModelAir in Newmarket. They are the only shops i go to but i don't think they would provide much in what you are particularly looking for.

Thank you all for your responses so far!

'where about will you be when you come over and will list shops for where you are going'.

Shayne,
If you know lots of good shops, list the best 5. Where I go could well be decided on where the best shops are... Seriously, the plan is to drive a complete lap of the South Island, (with the occcasional stop, of course!).

Cheers,

Malc.
