T100 Towing Questions

I've got my eyes on a T100 for use as a towing vehicle. The load will be around 4,000-4,500 lbs (including trailer). This weight is uncomfortably close to the max of 5,200 (unless I've been misinformed about the towing capacity). My question: Is the towing capacity of the T100 limited by the engine or the chassis? Can I boost the capacity using forced induction or would that be a waste of time? Thanks.

you're forgetting brakes too. there is a lot that factors in towing capacity other than horsepower. i'm not to sure about that vehicle in particular, i know that finding a proper hitch for it can be very hard though, i've tried to install one in autotech but the owner kept on buying the wrong one. they have a very small frame.
