I'm looking at doing the throttle plate mod, but all that grinding seems like a lot of work. Is there any reason why one couldn't drill out the rivets and then simply pop a rivet back in?

im looking at doing this mod to my new truck. i've heard some people say that cutting the rivits off caused some idle issues. im not sure why though.

i cut the rivets off, and filled the 2 small holes with JB weld, then i sanded it down to be flush with the thottle plate and never had a problem
