A Serious Muscle Kit.Xander cages XXX version of the Pontiac GTO.It can be built in two versions,One like the pics below and the other a hybrid sporty looking interior with buckets seats , a rollcage and side pipes. This kit,Some of it was hard work and some was very enjoyable...I like a kit that can be a challenge..

The Bodywork is Tamiya paints (X16)purple mixed with (X11)Chrome silver and (X22) clear, Laquer coated.

Some of you might notice a little bit of Bluetack, Im using till I decide if i should close this kit permenant.

These kits certainly dont fit together perfect, but if you are a scratch builder or like to fabricate your kits then these shouldnt be a problem..

Still have some work to do on the Engine bay and some wiring... I will update this post soon as its finished.

Sorry for marking this completed and then posting it in the WIP section... I still have a few things to put together on this. So i'd like to keep it alive for now.

Ya, let's see the engine! I like the undercarriage colouring too, how did you achieve that?

BTW, the mods might wanna move this to Completed Projects, just so you're aware ;)

67 GTO was one of the baddest cars on the road!!! Great job, I have been looking at this kit and was wondering how it went together. The scoop is way too tall but the under carrage and paint look great. Let's see some engine pics.

Great work the finish is excellent.

Myself and my brother have both started work on preparing the bodyshell on the 67 GTO kit. The panel lines were non existent and all had to be rescribed. The windscreen pillars moulding was a mess and needed lots of work to get the straight lines back and we have also had to fill the wing (fender) where the headlights join.

Did you have the same problems?

It also looks like you have changed the kits chrome moulded headlights with clear lenses?

Sorry guys, I've been very busy lately, We just had our second baby and the modelling and the updates just got put to the side for the moment..

Where's your 635 build

klutz_100,thankyou for asking mate... I'll make thread right now for that one.

Yes this is very true of this kit, It is quite messy and needs some work to tidy it up.I did enjoy that bit though :P

Yep, I totally agree too, but as youy also said this was the only scoop which comes with the kit and I didnt have anything to replace it with..I noticed that some of the other GTO's have a moulded bonnet instead..
