no heat or ac??

2000 chevy malibu has no heat or ac...it would kick on here and there and now completely doesnt work???
it does absolutly nothing when i turn on...ANY IDEAS??????????

1) Does the motor not kick in (fan) or
2) Does the selector not work?
3) Is it blowing and not blowing either cold or hot?

It dont do anything..i cant hear a sound
thinking maybe its the fan???? or the switch to turn on ????

I will look in the service manual tonight when I get home. It will have to be something that would be common with both. Could be a vent door that is controlled automatically could be jammed. I would think that even if the blower motor did not work you would still feel a little cold air or heat.

there is temp air duct with a door that will let in outside air , ac , heat. it is controlled by vacuum. it is in the dash, or under the dash.
