Yes and connection problems. Do you still have the orginal AC Delco battery? I never had the original OEM AC Delco battery in any of my GM cars last beyond 3 years.

Yes, I'm beginning to see evidence of a tiny bit of leakage on the POS terminal on inspection, so its getting replaced today before the cables, terminals and possibly other engine components are ruined.

I thought it was due to age. However, I ran into a bunch of complaints in an online search so I thought I'd ask.

I try to stick with GM/Delco when I can with replacment parts. There's something with 3rd party aftermarket parts that I don't trust a lot of times. But batteries are something different. Any recommendations on a good replacement brand?

both the grandprix and montana both had the issues of where the pos. battery terminal just fell off cause of corrision.

I had a similar philosophy about AC Delco batteries. But that changed. One time I got the top of the line Professional Series AC Delco and it failed in one year.

I've had good luck with Autozone's Duralast brand and Sears Die Hard. What is nice about AZ batteries at least for me is there are plenty of the stores around. So it is easy to get a replacement under the prorated warranty not to mention they test for free. One stop shopping.

Plus you can swap out the battery in their parking lot.

Sears is closer than Autozone, so I will go buy a DieHard.
